What I Like About SFI

When I joined SFI, there were many things that impressed me about the business.  One element was that it had no start-up costs.  How many businesses do you now that are like that?  There is no welcome kit, or starter pack, or anything to purchase.  You simply sign up and you are on your way.  With one burden taken off your shoulders, you can begin to concentrate on how the business works and how to make it work for you.

Another impressive part is the sponsors.  You have numerous people available to help you, either by answering your questions, or simply lending an ear when you need to talk.  This is what I can do for you.  You can read over my postings regarding the business, and then, if you like, you can sign up, and begin your journey with SFI.  I am available to chat with you and answer questions if they pop up while you are working the business.

A great thing is that you will have the added benefit of learning from me and everyone who has been in the business before me.  We have worked on increasing revenue, mentoring affiliates, and increasing our knowledge of marketing and business practices.  You do not need to start at ground zero.  I will share what I have learned with you.  There are forums and other forms of communication where SFI affiliates share what has worked (and not worked) for them in the past.  How wonderful would it be to be armed with knowledge of what has been successful already?

Just about everyone in SFI tells you that you are not going to get rich over night doing this.  How refreshing.  Instead, they let you know that this can be a true long-term working business for you.  There is the saying that “you need to plan your work and work your plan.”  This means that there will be effort required of you to succeed, and goal setting should be the foremost objective.  Honestly, how will you know that you have achieved your goals if you never spelled them out?  Just like running a race, if no one when tells you where the finish line is, then how will you know when you can stop running?

I know that sometimes people will let opportunities slip away because they feel that they do not know enough to begin. One of the great benefits of being an affiliate for SFI is that there is a wealth of information at your fingertips. The greatest part about this, it is available after you sign up…there is nothing else to do (minus studying the content)…no fee to pay or training to purchase. So, you get a great business opportunity and then you receive the training to help you put forth your best effort. As stated in previous articles, if you have any questions, there are people available who have the answers.

The various training covers a multitude of subjects, from the best ways to begin at SFI (in general) to easy marketing strategies to get your information out to those who desire it. Topics include blogs, articles, courses, FAQs, and general chat among your fellow affiliates. Another great way to learn is through the LaunchPad series. This series includes 30 days of tips and training to get you started in your SFI business. You get a full month of information delivered to your inbox (or in your affiliate center). You should definitely take your time and learn as much as you can, so that one day you might be the resource that new affiliates turn to for answers.

Does the idea of marketing overwhelm you? SFI has training for this as well. The training discusses the various types of marketing (online, mail, etc.) and easy ways for you to begin. Short on cash currently? SFI’s training shows ways for low or no-cost marketing strategies to help you out. The information you learn will not only help you with your marketing efforts, it will also help you to become an expert and resource on the subject for others. They will wonder where you are learning all of this great information.

The one thing that you must do to be successful (in any endeavor) is to be serious about this. Treat your business like a business. This means that you must schedule time to work on it, schedule time to increase your knowledge regarding best practices for running it, and work on getting to know others already in the business. There are many who have come before you and have tried various practices in the past. Learn from them, study what worked and how they made it work. Everyone is unique and comes into business with different backgrounds and skill sets. Spend time in the forums getting to know everyone and sharing your unique knowledge. It is amazing the magic that happens when different people get together to look at the same ideas. Everyone sees it in their own personal way and the ideas that are shared can take your business to a whole other level.

Hello All,

I was just looking at my TC Sales Report when I came across a little gem (which prompted me to share with you).

So you'd like to buy some TCredits and do it through a Standing Order?  Top idea!

If you look at the figures a 100 TCredit pak on a SO is $29.00. But in fact you'll make $14.00 Commission Volume on that purchase (the following month).  So your 100 TCredits only cost you $15.00!

It gets better!

One of your downline does the same and buys the 100 TCredit pak on a SO. (They'll get their $14.00 back the next month too.)  However, for you, you make $14.00 Commission Volume on their purchase plus $6.30 as a Direct Commission as well.

Pretty good hey? You've just made $20.30 on a $29.00 item that your downline bought!

The IAHBE works just the same -

When you purchase:
$29.95; $15.50CV
(Actual cost $14.45)

When your downline purchases:
$29.95; $15.50CV; $6.98DC
(Your total commission $22.48)

In lieu of this new-found knowledge, from now on when I look at items on TripleClicks (from Tripleclicks Direct) I'll just half the list price and that's really what we all end up paying!
